About Us
Dream Bigger 4 Kids, Inc (DB4K) is a social enterprise, charitable corporation based in Loudoun County and Fairfax County, Virginia. Dream Bigger 4 Kids is funded by individual and corporate donations to fund and assist the needs of select organizations, shelters and hospitals that directly affect the lives of children. We also promote community based volunteering, and we advocate research that analyzes social issues supporting our overall mission involving the well being of disadvantaged children.
Our Mission
Dream Bigger 4 Kids’ mission is to enhance the lives of children with a broad range of social, financial, health, and educational needs. At Dream Bigger 4 Kids we believe that every child has the potential to impact the world and each child deserves the support to realize their full potential. We have realistic goals, limited resources, and complete understanding that we cannot save the entire world. However, we believe that we can have a significant affect on children’s lives by offering assistance and support to a few disadvantaged children right in our local community and around the world. We are committed to doing our part to help offer encouragement, confidence, and support to these children as they navigate the difficult circumstances they currently face in their young lives so that they can someday ‘Dream Bigger’ for themselves.
Our History
Dream Bigger 4 Kids was founded as a charitable club at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg, Virginia on October 22, 2011 by a group of like-minded high school students--Edward Hill, Nathan Huet, Neeraj Dalvi, and Michael O’Mara. Upon introducing the concept to the student body, hundreds of fellow high school students across Loudoun County expressed their enthusiastic interest in being a part of this organization. Dream Bigger 4 Kids became incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia on March 23, 2012.
